Terrible Death

veins pulse
hearts pound
legs kick
head swims 'round
pressure builds
body trembles
blood boils
ever nimble
fever rises
pain increases
one last breath
all life ceases.

Alone

Why,
when all around me,
I see kind ones,
I don't feel human?
I want to cry,
Scream, and shout out
lying low
I watch them
unknowingly pass by
All alone in this hole.

Ocean

Oh ocean,
What have you to say to me?
Never ending waves
fleeting forever towards shore
Sea of life,
bounding eternal mystery
amazing strength
frightening danger
peaceful soothing
quiet calm
rest and relaxation
terror and tremors
reassuring return
for ages to come.

Tears

Crying,
Hear my heart dying,
sighing,
Blood rushing through
empty temples
frustration.
No communication
Drip down,
Fall,
scream,
silence
Good Morning

a creamy, warm, butter sunrise
overflows cityscape with glowing pleasure
eyes awake, bodies open
the day has come
many thanks to this
welcome surprise,
of a warm, butter sunrise
Feelings

cottony soft
glistening dew
sparkle taste
I love you

heated sweat
gentle caress
soon creation
use no less

feelings rule
everyone,
happiness & pain
hearts undone

Sad Song

A gentle girl sings,
a beautiful song of terror,
much to often she feels pain sting,
the pressure is thick in every layer
she feels up close fear
for her the end is near
her emotion is damaged beyond repair
I understand her longing despair
Pain

motionless
expressionless
pulsing thoughts
she longs to get out
Aye me, what to do?
Shivered chills
race your spine
I grimace and shudder
She smiles,
biting her tongue
to bear the pain
frightened eyes
roll back in my head
taking in the pain
of what you've said
"For Mr. T"

Angels dance across blue sky
painting cloudy white streaks
wind blows our painting
across his yellow sun
gracing their canvas gently
brushing the gray away.
Enjoying life, love, & laughter,
Together with us.

Vampires

Hair black as night
a face with skin so white
evil blood shot eyes
Only seen in darker skies
A creature of the midnight hour
Searching for blood to devour
finding a pale, fresh neck
Just maybe, a little peck?
Seduction over coming a victim's brain,
wicked vamp, needed to be slain
oh-so-sly and ever stealthy
grasping flesh filled with blood-so healthy
Should you meet one, don't bother to cower,
just know you've met death's hour
My Mother

Five jobs- done to perfection despite the work
Four children- smiling with playful contempt
Three roles- mother, wife, & friend
Two hands- magical healing tools
One woman- amazingly wise with grace
Night Sky

Silvery sliver of moon,
drop-smile
Set with diamond shine stars
across deep oceanic blue velvet skies,
quietly descends to colorful horizon,
Dark Teal to soft blue to pale lime green to twinkle yellow to serene red
blending beauty to whole creation
covering all is the
night sky

Rain

My friend, how I love the rain
It can take my stories thousands of times,
take them into itself,
and never tell a soul.

I can cry in the rain,
as it ever-so-kindly hides my tears and pain
It becomes one with my sorrow
As I do with it's own

Rain can seem to wash away my fear
at the moment when I need it most
My friend the rain
Always there.

The steadiness of it's patience
calms my anger
the rain hides me
as I weep disappearing tears

Always here when I need a friend,
The rain
not knowing how I love
For it to wait on my windowsill

When I need tranquility,
It will be my companion
As it floods from gray clouds
Gently it falls.

Now is one of those moments,
As I sit her in solitude
With my forever true guide,
My friend the rain.
